Meet Our Team
Allan Corbett
Has been involved in all aspects of the Cross Border environment for more than 35 years.
He started his career at Customs, then worked at one of the big 4 Banks as a Regional Head in Foreign Exchange.
He is also a specialist in the Automotive Production Development Programme (APDP) and Customs Duty Drawback claims, being involved in this industry for in excess of 14 years.
He was also the Head of a leading Bank’s Foreign Exchange division.
He holds a qualification in Financial Markets and Instruments as well as in Sales and Marketing from Rand Afrikaans University, also a Strategic Leader Qualification from GIMT, and a Management Programme Certificate from GIBS
He is a Past Chairman of the Eastern Cape Exporters Club
Jeanique van der Mescht
Is a specialist in the Automotive Production Development Programme (APDP) and customs drawback claims. She has been involved in overseeing the administration and processing of these claims and liaising with Customs and ITAC in excess of 15 years.
She is also in the process of completing a diploma in International Trade.
She holds a B Com Degree and prior to being involved in this industry she worked as an Accountant for 3 years
In 2014 she was elected to the Nelson Mandela Bay Chamber Top 40 under 40 Programme
Jaco Minnie
Is a qualified professional Accountant.
He has extensive knowledge of the Automotive Development Programme (APDP) and is an expert in all aspects of both SARS Customs and the International Trade Administration Commission (ITAC) policies and procedures.
He has in excess of 20 year’s experience in the Customs Industry.
He holds 2 Honours Degrees, One from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and the other from the University of Natal in Accounting.
He is a member of the Eastern Cape SAIPA Regional Committee.
